New Website Goes Live
June 30, 2008 – 4:28 amWe’re pleased to announce that the new release of Handset Detection is out the door. ! Yee Har ! This release features, in no specific order :
- About 400 new devices.
- A massive Device List .
- Much improved device matching for ‘close’ hits.
- A sexy new website look.
- A forum, and obligatory blog.
- OpenID login - Its beta but do give it a try.
- Squashed a few bugs in the doco.
- We’ve enhanced logging so that its easier for us to help you debug
(Ok thats more for us). - Improved browser and OS detection for the stats.
Specific API bug fixes :
- XML replies are now properly UTF-8 encoded.
- GEO Location now returns ISP/Carrier information correctly.
Coming Soon :
- Report mechanism for inaccurate devices.
- Create new devices.
- Much better stats ! (halleluiah).
